Dasara movie Storyline
In the small village of Veerlapally, surrounded by coal mines, the men’s lives are entwined with alcohol from dawn to dusk. Dharni, deeply connected to his best friend Suri and harboring a long-standing love for Vennela, discovers her affection for Suri and selflessly sacrifices his own love. Years later, Dharni and Suri resort to stealing coal for a living. When Suri’s relationship with Vennela faces objection from her mother, Dharni vows to secure Suri a job as a cashier at the popular Silk bar in the village.
This promise triggers conflict with Nambi, the son of the village Sarpanch Shivanna, who had different plans for the job. A brawl erupts at the bar involving Nambi’s men, Suri, and Dharni, leading to their torture in jail. Rajanna, Shivanna’s stepbrother, intervenes, bailing everyone out. Despite the villagers urging him to contest elections, Rajanna prioritizes Suri, ultimately winning over Nambi.
Dharni fulfills his promise by arranging Suri and Vennela’s marriage. However, on their wedding night, Suri discovers Dharni’s sacrifice and confronts him. Tragedy strikes when unknown assailants attack Dharni, Suri, and their friends. Suri sacrifices his life to save Dharni, leaving him shattered, and Vennela a widow on what was meant to be her joyful wedding day.
